Yeah. Haven't got much time into it yet, but I picked it up when I scored a nice force feedback wheel at a steep discount at auction.

What does a full setup with game run nowadays?

It all depends what you want. The game itself is $70. It's on both PS4 and 5, so you might already have the console. Wheels seem to go anywhere from $200 to $OMG. Same thing with a seat. You can clamp it to a desk, or rig up a coffee table, or buy a sim seat. I've got a folding Playseat Challenge that I bought a few years ago. It's pretty decent and doesn't take up much space when it's collapsed.
Or you can just play with a controller. I think I read the PS5 controller has some sort of motion control option sort of like the Nintendo Wii, so you can steer by rotating the whole controller.

I've got a wheel I never use for the Xbox because could never figure out a comfortable way to set it up that's wasn't a pain in the ass.

I just finished all the "Cafe task" races in GT7. Overall it is a good game, haven't really jumped into online yet. Has a '91 GTO in it, so there's that. Insane that there's no C8 yet.

I was pretty disappointed in that too. It seems like the selection of cars made after 2017 drops off pretty steeply. I really wanted a McLaren 720S or Senna. Even the Chiron and all its variants are missing. There's nothing at all from Koenigsegg.

It's a lot better than previous years. I think it's also because every car has a fully detailed interior.

So the Mrs. caught me taking the El Cap out after work Friday. Ive never owned a car that is this much fun and that likes to get tossed around so much. I really need to go and get this thing titled and insured in Idaho soon.

I was looking around for some info on the roof and came across this:
https://revlimiter.net/blog/category/cappuccino-94-ltd/
I think that's the same guy who makes the really high end gauge faces for Miatas.
He has a page describing his adventure getting it legal in New Mexico. Hopefully things go smoother for you and you don't need it.

It was a fun read. He had a lot more fun with his new car purchase than I'm having.

Update:
Japanese license plates are different dimensions than North American. The bolt holes are further apart both horizontally and vertically, so i went looking for some new brackets. Got lucky and found an older Mercedes with a conversion bracket that bolts right up. Here it is with one of my Argentina plates installed. Argentina plates are a weird fit (not tall enough and have grooves at the top that allow for several mounting options).
Figured that since its a foreign car not meant for the US. A similar plate would be fitting.
Now in an effort to be a little more eco friendly, our family washes our cars on the lawn. May not be a big deal for some of you folks who live on large parcels or next to a lake, but I live in the concrete suburbia desert. While washing the Cap our sprinklers came on, we all darted off the grass and took a moment to enjoy the splendor. Car didn't seem to mind it either.

Love the sprinkler photos.
I missed my chance to buy one on GT7. Last time I logged in they were sold out.
