miata is going to a friend in exchange for doing some work on the forester. Dash lights are on because it has no abs or airbags now.

Is that a huge parking spot or did you pull a bmw move and take up two spots?

Yes it's a parking spot. I'm just close to the curb.

I havent really posted any updates on this guy here. Its been pretty reliable for what it is. Took it on plenty of adventures. Hopefully this summer we can do some camping out of it if i can address some issues. Its had a tapping noise in the head since ive had it. I think it just needs a valve adjustment, after ruling out the tensioner and bottom end. Also still need a windshield and replacement headlights. It has a full compustar alarm and remote start. I still need to replace some bushings and throw on the full motor/trans mount set i have. I also never finished the e tuning process lol, so ill have to get some fresh plugs and hopefully that will fix the drivability issues (tip in/out is really rough)
Heres the pics, what you really wanted lol
Pups hanging out after a walk at a park.
Snow day last year, wish we had that much this year
Going up capital peak, 5k feet, about a 20 minute drive from my apartment.
Mt St Helens. This one was actually shared by Subaru lol.

Custom gauge mount i had made, may replace with a DDIN radio mount, as the stock radio mount is too low to see well.
Before and after all-terrains. Bit on the small side at 27" but they will do for now. Eventually ill get these studded and get 30s on some nicer wheels after i get a lift.
And when i got stuck going up to capital peak when it got snow in january. Got stuck, guy in the tercel stopped by with a small shovel, dug it out a bit, aired down, and made it out on my own power. Dumb chick in the trailhawk jeep pulled over really far to the opposite side and almost went down, she had to be pulled out. The tercel was cool as fuck.
And lastly, us just hanging out testing the sleeping bag situation in the back. We like to drive out to lake cushman and just read/nap in the back sometimes. It was about 35* here and the sleeping bag kept us pretty toasty.
Next is getting some gear to be more self sufficient camping and offroading so we can do more fun stuff.

That’s funny about the Jeep lady. Good intentions but poor situational awareness. Kudos on making the scoobi Facebook page! Looks like a fun little all around rig. I would be Leary about lifting it more though. Not much to do with ifs.

They make 2-4.5 inch kits that keep all the suspension and driveline geometry intact.

This is one company.
https://awdadventure.com/
The other company is in Australia and they are a bit better quality. Basically 2 inches is the accepted limit of the cv’s so anything more requires lowering the drivetrain to compensate.

i drove this around the yard friday. Its been down for about 4 years after the AC pulley seized lol. motivation is hard.
had traded the AT tires and steelies for some avid av20s, but they were too large, ended up finding some stock wrx wheels for $250 a few weeks ago
Got a good chunk to do before i trust it to drive again, but its nice to know it still runs lol
