Man. I took a 3/s rear end apart. Just haven’t taken to the sandblaster to finish like that guy.

Episode 30

I feel like they just might have this thing running this year.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

Episode 31. I'm starting to feel like they just might finish this thing in my lifetime.

That transmission looks amazing.

Wonder what they will have in it by time it’s done.

That's always a tough question. A lot of the parts have been discounted or paid for outright by sponsors, and then there's the issue of their labor time. Their labor time is tough since they're constantly having to stop to set up for filming. I don't even know if it's possible to put an accurate number on it.

Fair point. I bet they know about how many hours a project would take if you take away the camera though.

They should do a Q and A with fans.

Its funny you mention the 6 years Jeff. My cousin was telling me about the latest update yesterday and I jokingly said "This is going to take like 6 months, (insert SpongeBob segue) 6 years later"

Episode 32. Richard does some wiring, and Nik builds a water to air intercooler from some scraps.

It's not Binky, but maybe it'll hold us over.

New series "Bargain Racement" will start on Saturday 19th September at 19:00 BST here on YouTube. All patrons will receive it on Friday night. This time, the car is already finished and we've filmed most of the episodes.
*We don't know when the next episode of Binky or Escargot will be, we're working on it.*

Did they take a long break or what? I watch some more when you last posted I forget where I’m at.

It's been a year since episode 37. They've done some other stuff like showing how a 3rd party re-trimmed the seats, and there was a gag reel a month ago, but the main Project Binky series has been badly delayed.

If you go by the last one I posted, they've only done six in the last three years.

This is weird. I was just thinking about how these guys must have moved on with their lives, and then a new one dropped the next day.

Gonna need you to think about them more often. One video every 18 months is not enough

They're fabricating circuit boards now. :burnana:

Sure it was dumb, but it was also brilliant.

I really can't think of a better way to make iterative prototypes though. Even if they'd milled down some copper clad boards, or etched boards, they still would have had to deal with making and installing another set of all those pain in the ass vias.

Once they have a final version I'll bet they can send their design files out to someone who knows what they're doing and have it turned into a proper professional PCB.

so much time coming up with that when they could have just had boards made in less than a week
