Probably not. It's an RS. I'll check.

I do have a spare SR air locker rear but not worth it to ship

I thought you (Reno, not Dirty) had a 9" LSD sitting on the shelf?

Also, where'd you get the big bolt to block off your EGR on the exhaust manifold? I'm going to need to do that on account of my 3.8 intake.

I do but I want another. I know I'll pick up another max or raider in the near future.

The bolt is the existing bolt that comes with the egr setup. I just removed the pipe and filled it with jb weld.

On my Stealth I cut the pipe off, pinched it shut and welded it.

Yea I was tempted to just weld shut the top of the bolt but this was much quicker and cleaner. Not to mention completely reversable.

I won't have any use for my current LSD if I ever get my 3.5L axle swap done.

Stick with the 9" rear. Save the added weight and enjoy the LSD. You will never break it. Hell, you might even be able to install a Ford 9" locker in it if you ever need to take it that far.

That will be a side project I may work on after I wrap the swap. That along with the 3S lsd front axle swap idea too.

I already have the axle and I want the disc brakes. My plan is to go with a Sport hybrid LSD and 4.64 gears front and rear.

I know, I know. Originally I wanted a locker, then that changed, and now I'm stuck with this mess :p

I hear ya. I have two V5MT trans in my side yard and no vehicles to put them in. I feel the pain.

Popcorn...Gatecrasher. The one guy is attempting to spew gizmo knowledge. I'll let you chime in if you want. Not sure how much we want to let out of the bag yet.

I wasn't aware we'd even settled on what the bag would be, let alone put things in it yet

Now flashing Monteros is going to be a thing

I was digging around for a link to Greg's Chrome stuff, and I found this pretty interesting...

http://chromedecu.org/?page_id=755
Monochrome has taken the stock rom from the 1999 3000GT VR4 and disassembled it. Basically he reverse engineered the program.

After he accomplished this feat he then started adding extra functions in the rom. He called his new rom Chrome.
Really? Greg did that all by his lonesome self? Methinks Adam needs a fucking history lesson...

Ha, you have the platform in your hands now. Minds will proceed to be blown.

Yea, there have been a few of you including yourself who have contributed greatly to its success.

For the record, I'm not blaming Greg and I'm not saying I deserve a parade and medals. But Adam really misrepresented how that went down. It's especially galling since he had a front row seat to the long conversations we had on the topic on this board.

Oh well. Moving on to more important things...it looks like we should have looked into Toyota 1UZ engines before going down this 6G7 road

Don't want a Toy swap. Im partial to our platform especially since its far less popular. Im perfectly happy with the power this motor will put down. If i get anywhere near the 300hp im expecting then ill be happy.

If this works expect to see turbo builds pop up soon after. Imagine 500+hp truck builds. Woot!
