Block off all the vents except for one. Flood that last one with insect killer, then tape it off too.
Then disassemble the ducts and dispose of your bug genocide.
The ducts are all riveted together. Im not doing that. I dont think there is a nest, I just think that they can get into the inside and then the ducts are a good place. I think Im gonna have to deal with this though, not only just when it warms up but pretty much always. Need to figure out what keeps them away.

Find where they're getting in and cover the openings with window screen?

The whole thing has openings. No way to seal one up. Maybe with hard doors or hard top. Even the back isnt sealed to the bottom of the bed.

Amp gauge has been going lower. It has been a little low and off to start with but now I could see it in my headlights.
Went to test things and it would go between 26/27. Manual says 28 + or - .5, all I have to do on the Humvee is turn a 3/8th allen head to up things. Bam. Turned it maybe 1/4th turn and 28. Woot.

Got a bunch of wood from lowes today. 10ft planks like its a boss!
Then I had to have the Humvee moved to get the vr4 out. Its parked in a 25 degree angle. A wrangler cant handle a 21. I can go to 40 but holy crap 25 feels like Im gonna fall out.

Took the Humvee and got a scoop of dirt today, thats about 2,000lbs if dry....it wasnt wet but not dry. The while this slowed down an already slow vehicle, it wasnt horrible. I also liked standing on the sides to unload. Worked great honestly.

I have a phobia of flying stinging bugs. I can not control myself. Literally every day there are 5-6 wasps in the Humvee. It has stopped me from driving it in the mornings in the dark. I think they get in and cant get out as they are on the windshield, not on a nest.
Bought a wasp attractor and hung it in the back to try and capture them.
We will see as the Humvee needs to move for the vr4 to come out and I dont wanna drive it because of my fear. I will jump out of it.

Right now I'm picturing your Humvee ghost riding down the hill into the lake
Is there anything that repels these bugs? Mothballs or something small you can put inside the vents and the cab?

So far non of the wasps have gone into the attractor.

Bought the windshield, seal, shipping....140.
It has just sat and this weekend I took a couple trips to the top of the hill with old furnature and trash. Man I enjoy driving this thing. So needed to fix the windshield.

You know....your right. I will get something. I forgot about the house not having the whole thing.
I should have some of the Humvee saved up as well. I need to finish the stereo for it.
Also they were selling ac for 1k for it...man was I tempted.

Replaced the windshield. It was pretty strait forward. Did break a bolt, should have taken a pic as Im sure people have seen these bolts but I never have. It was a fine thread that tapered to a point but had very find thread all the way to the tip, very interesting bolt.
Just gonna put in a self drilling and tapping bolt to replace it. Lol.
Felt good driving it again.
