Cup holders came in today, had to order a hole saw as lowes or home dept dont carry a 3 3/4 one. It will be here Friday.
Question. The cup holder area is separate than the rest of the center console. I was thinking of after putting the cups in, to put a peace of wood over them with a weight and filling that area with some foam. Couple of reasons why, this would hold them in very tight and wouldnt pull out when picking up a cup. This would also aid in sound absorption (which was increased greatly with this center console).
Thoughts?

Installed a reciver hutch under the factory stuff so I can still tow military stuff if I want but more likely just normal trailers.
Now I need the drop distance so I can order the rest.

Seems to work fine for me. But this is the copy that was downsized by the text messaging program, so that might have something to do with it.

Put foam under the cup holders as they kept coming out when I had a cup in them. They arent budging now!!
Also removed the throttle lock. Your knee litterally sits on it. It makes your foot/knee/leg be at an uncomfortable angle. Now while its cool and I could see me using it in certain situations. I can mount it somewhere else but in the meantime enjoy my knee not sitting on it.
Took the trash to the top of the hill today on the way to work. Thought, man...a light back here would be nice. Just a bed light, not some huge KC light bar. Any suggestions?

It finally snowed. Half an inch on the roads, more in the grass.
Notes: shes a heavy bitch! If I pointed her and man she went. No questions, no hesitation, just okay. But stopping. Yeah..,stopping. That got scary. The Humvee has great brakes actually but man the back end wants to slide out and it made me pucker.
On a side note I think I have some electrical issues. The volt gauge was moving around. Headlights dimming. Seemed to get better or worse by the angle of the truck. Didnt care about rpms. I need to think about a ground.
Whats the easiest and quickest home made ground. Anywhere in the block to the body?

Go on Amazon and search for "ground strap". You'll find stuff like this.
https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-HELP-6021 ... ound+strap
You might even be able to get something similar from O'Reilly or Napa.

I drive my Humvee every 3rd day to work. Doesnt matter if its cold, raining, hot...Im driving it.
Here as its been getting nicer but had some rain I have had this happen to me 3 times now.
Wasps fly out of the heating ducts. Now thats some scary shit as Im really close. Luckily twice I was just at the top of my hill and I could hop out and kill them. Once I had to find somewhere to pull in. Yeah. Wasps.

Block off all the vents except for one. Flood that last one with insect killer, then tape it off too.
Then disassemble the ducts and dispose of your bug genocide.
