I'm honestly surprised they are willing to drive it half way to meet me with the truck and sign everything. Bought it from a brand name dealership so perhaps that helps? Still going to be a long day but would have probably been a 2 day trip if they didn't agree to it.

Gotta be f250. Seems like the only newer in the price range you’ve been looking in.

One more hint and that's it I guess.

I've owned 2 other vehicles from the same year.

Just post what you're looking at already. You've literally posted every other single ad of every other vehicle you've ever considered (even if it was like 5 years out before you were going to buy it), yet you're not going to post this one

And I don't think anyone keeps a detailed record of what vehicles, and what year you owned.

There is a record on bawc.

But I'm not posting what I bought until I sign the paperwork. Don't want to jinx it. Lol

Oh and I did link this one I believe...

I'll make a post tomorrow night as long as everything goes well tomorrow. Already agreed to a meeting point and time tomorrow morning.

It's not like car dealerships are hurting for customers these days. They must really want to get rid of this thing badly. :p

They knocked $4k off asking price and agreed to meet me which is a couple of hours drive at least for them. I'm not complaining. Clean carfax. West coast truck. Full service records.

They are deff slowing down here in east tn. Local who is the VP at a bank says company wide they are down something like half the auto loans they were this time last year. They only deal in new to 3 yr old cars though.

They actually are. Sales person I had when I went to look at a F250 with the gas 7.3 said as much. They still have that truck like a month later and have dropped the price twice.

Hmm. I knew it was starting to cool off a little, but I didn't think it was that bad yet.

Yeah he said "we don't have much going on around here now"

The real problem to me as a potential shopper is the trade in market has cratered, but the retail prices haven't followed suit. If I trade my truck in now I'd be lucky to get 20k for it but retailers are still asking 32k for a truck like mine. Private party isn't paying anywhere near that.
