Sounds like Chevy used it more to make the suspension have variable damping.

It's definitely meant to be an active participant in the suspension.
Looks like a base model. I doubt you'd want to figure out how to get me the transfer case even if it was the off road model

Interesting that its constantly under load. All the other torsion vehicles I own have a significant gap where that would be used only as a last resort when fully compressing the suspension.
Your TC bad? Aren't they all "off road" models?

That TC probably weighs half the weight of my car.

It's not bad. It's just rare and I'd like a spare.
H3 Off Road pack is like the Rubicon pack on a Jeep. The transfer case is 4:1 instead of 2.54:1 or something like that.

Oh, 4:1 is a legit 4x4 low gear ratio drop.

Yeah. 4:1 transfer, underbody armor with rock sliders, center and rear lockers for 06-08, and all three lockers for 09-10.
That's why I jumped on getting ours. It's an 09 and all the little extra bits were still there. It seems like most of the ones with the off road pack are missing the underbody parts.

I found a picture of Coop after reading that your H3 has all three lockers in it.

ItÂ’s true. I even asked him what would swap to the avalanche.

Leaving for a two day off road trip on Thursday morning.
Last minute, heavy labor mods would seem like a good decision, right?

If you're not doing this, something is wrong.

Nah. It was was something that started out at a 120* angle, and ended at a 70* angle.
