Something different than g80 in the rear was talked about. He said I could pick whatever as cost would be the same, I would just need to purchase the locker.

When taking off the one wheel that I had to get a breaker bar on my half in drive wrench because they were put on so tight, I didn’t like my lug nuts. They just have seen better days.

When looking on Amazon for a set prices range from 24 to 54 for a stock set. Mine have that thread on the outside for the plastic lug nut that screws on to it. Like these. https://amzn.to/3G90ZJT

Anyways, anyone have any suggestions on which ones to get? Never thought lug nuts would be a hard choice. lol

Got a quote from the sams guy that installed the vr4 interior, and the Humvee door to do the sunroof sag, and give me a little foam on the drivers seat part closest to the door. I think it was 250 and he would have it done in a day. I’m good with that. Scheduled it for the 4th. Both I could live with but driving it more now and so it bugs me more. Lol.

Got the head liner to the sunroof fixed and foam added to the driver seat.

Then on the way into work with the model A the muffler blew out. Lol. Sounds strait trailer park right now.

Well I really need to do the front brakes on the avalanche. I was gonna do the 2020 4 piston fronts but my wheels were too small.

So is the best I’m gonna get the 08’s?

Factory amp went bad. This isn’t a horrible thing but not fun either.

The latest part number is 15267751. There are two older part numbers as well. 10394518 and 15054672. It's on a bracket under your center console, between the front seats. Looks like it crosses over with all the other 2003-2007 GMT800 full size trucks and SUVs.

Fortunately it doesn't look like it needs to be programmed. Damn Bose amps are ridiculously overpriced for what they are. Especially for a 20 year old mass produced pickup.

It under the center console? That sounds like fun to remove. Lol

Finally got to drive these tires in the snow. Heading into work about 1-2”, two people off in the ditch on the way into work. One going up a hill, had to go around them. I slipped pretty bad going around but recovered and no more real issues.

Coming home, anywhere from 6-9” of snow. About 5-10mph the whole way home. They were really good in that thicker snow. Slipped some, but nothing horrible. Lots of ice under the snow as well. Will be curious how they do when the snow is gone but the ice is still there.

Yea, we were about similar with the snow we had. Oddly its all almost melted off now.

Did you have to engage your 4x lockers?

The rear engaged quite a number of times. I wish I could keep it engaged.

I spent 3 hours cleaning off HALF of the driveway. The wife could prob get out if need be but would still slide quite a bit. I bet they are out of school rest of the week. She thinks they will go back. No way. They’ve been getting out for WIND!!! It’s not suppose to get above freezing next 3 days. No way they are in school.
