Correct, yellow is more visable. But just what I was saying red is identified as fire truck/response.

I tend to pay more attention to the flashing lights and sirens than I do to the color. It's the same thing with police vehicles. Those are usually the exact opposite of high visibility (blue, black, brown, gray or white) but we still don't have a problem noticing them when they're all lit up.

The thing with sound is you can put run it, not like the speed of sound, but how loud it is doesn’t last long when you get above about 50mph. The lights you have to be right behind the person. At least this is what they tell us all in evoc class.

I hate taking my stuff anywhere to get worked on.

First the guy asks me anything special to drive it.

Then he reads the instructions I printed out, which I guess that’s a good thing because at least he cares enough to look at them. The owner has some old military vehicle he has had for 30yrs. I wish he was doing it. On the bright side, I had been spraying it with pb blaster for DAYS. It’s come apart pretty easy. He is almost done with the second shock and been working about an hour. That’s really not horrible. I hope this fixes my bouncing issue.

We are suppose to get snow starting around noon....I hope we do, man I hope we do.

Anyone good with eBay? I need a couple seats. Arm rests and seat heaters. I can’t seem to find them. Any help? I’ve found them all separate but I just want a factory deal.

Gonna get harbor fright 3 ton low profile jack. Anyone see any issue with that and picking up the Humvee? The way I see if, that can pick up how much the Humvee weights (I think) and it’s not like I will ever be able to lift the entire thing on one jack. Always the entire front, or entire side so really it should be just fine.

I have got to swap out front and rear tires in the drivers side and see if it’s the tire or the suspension I am having issues with.

I see a lot of people buy these seats….and I like them…but the 125 shipping and the no seat sliders make them much more expensive.

On the other hand, I really like these seats, but they dont have arm rests. I was thinking when I build the center cover for things like cup holders and put storage I could just add an arm rest.

First time really driving it in the rain. There is a lot of pooling water where I live. Deep enough that in a normal car your gonna avoid it. Well I’m in a Humvee....fuck puddles. First one I hit....a wall of water comes flying up....OVER the top of the Humvee. Literally, I can’t see and I’m plowing through. Holy poop it was fun. Cause the whole things pretty water proof, can’t hurt it....I came home and wanted to set up the GoPro to record it and do it again. Man if it weren’t for the rain coming in the cab, and being wet, this would be the best ever vehicle driving in the rain!

So, it's waterproof everywhere but where you may actually want it to be LOL

I am sure you know this, but puddles are fine. If you want to do serious water crossings though you will need to make sure your engine, transmission, differentials, electronics, etc, are waterproofed before hand.

Yes. My seat was wet by the end of the trip as water would go down the door sill and then fling into the vehicle while driving.

Kinda annoying.

The only thing I would have to add to mine is the fording kit. All electronics are waterproof. The fording kit keeps water from getting in the rest but they say it’s hard on seals. I don’t see me doing anything about it
