$1600 for the touring axle-back if I don't get the X-pipe, $2050 if I do.

That's honestly pretty reasonable given the quality. I need to hear it in person though.

I also need to see some reviews. This deletes my active exhaust and the valves for my cylinder deactivation (AFM). Supposedly the 4 cylinder noise isn't an issue on the manual trans cars, as GM deleted the AFM valves on manual Z51 and Grand Sport in 2017 anyway. If the sound isn't a problem, I'll just need to decide how I want to bypass the AFM valve error codes.

Thought about doing exhaust, but the sound is already good and I'll probably end up trading mine in on a C8 convertible Z06 when they are available.

That's why I want to hear one in person. I want something a bit louder, but not obnoxiously loud like the Mustang who lives down the street.

If it was slightly raspier I'd be good with that, but I wouldn't want it to drone more on the highway. And I'd want to keep the exhaust valves too. Seems like a catless X-pipe is probably the best way to go to get that sound.

I hadn't actually watched the video when I posted it. I didn't realize they were only demonstrating the x-pipe. That might be all I need

I hate obnoxiously loud cars and motorcycles.. Or rather, I hate most people who have them. There is no point in being intentionally loud and obnoxious. There are a couple of highly modified Camaros and Mustangs in my area who intentionally make sure they are loud while driving. Just stupid. Same with motorcycles that intentionally keep their revs high to be loud. Dumb. I had race pipes on the 675 and do on the Ducati, yet I don't ride through residential or business areas at high RPMs just to be obnoxious.

It drives me crazy. When I want to angrily pass someone going super slow I can't do it in the Volt. I mean sure, I can pass them quickly, but it is so quiet that it takes the fun out of it.

How do you get around the CEL from deleting the secondary cats?

Also you should come home and say you are deleting your cats, and see if Steven runs for the bedroom

HP Tuners I guess. That would let me tune out any issues with the NPP and AFM valves too. My only concern is how closely would CarMax check that if I had to make a warranty claim. My GM powertrain warranty is up this month, so they're no longer a concern.

That's the nice thing about having the valves on the exhaust. You can set the car to be very quiet in your neighborhood and open it up whenever you want. I leave mine in Track mode all the time, since I live out in the country and most of my neighbors are gearheads anyways.

Even with the exhaust in track mode, it closes the valves under 2000 rpm so cruising it is quiet.
