How long have you owned it?

Mine only left me truly stranded 1x. Sure it broke a lot, but was driveable each time so.... :ick:

I've owned it a year this week.

I just thought of this as I threw away a milk big hug of antifreeze.

Do you guys ever wonder who is desperate enough to buy antifreeze, windshield washer fluid or even TOYS that pick n pull places have in their building?

I swear there was blood on some of those toys that caught my eye in discusse

I'd say it's the same kind of people who rely on places like that to keep their car running.

I'd rather see that stuff get re-used rather than just tossed or sent off to some chemical processing plant.

As of today I have formal documentation from the state of Missouri, proving that I am the legal owner of junk :woohoo:

Copart got back to me, and I've got the truck scheduled to be picked up on Friday. Interestingly enough, I don't need to be there.

So I asked about the title. The response was "Well, I don't see that you need one" Da fuq? I only got one because you said I had to have it!

Oh well. Whatever. I'll leave it in the glovebox.

:woohoo:

Dead Red is gone :D

I ended up donating it to Wheels for Wishes. After the first couple missteps, Copart was hounding me pretty hard to come and get it. I'm only ~2 weeks past my self imposed deadline to get rid of it. All in all, it worked out ok :)

Whenever you use forceful and overt verbal persuasion to try to convince others to see things your way, they're probably not listening to what you say, Instead they're looking for every error in you your logic and mistakes in your facts, all the while constructing counterarguments. Worse still, they don't merely believe you're wrong; they need you to be wrong in order to protect the status quo. And since the final judge exists in their own head, you lose every time. - The Influencer

Funny to see that still living on. With blown out tire and all. Jeff I'm starting to feel better about the mm motor mounts being reused.

Who needs a full size truck?

Image

Helping Vira's sister move. We got a washer, dryer, over-sized 2 wheeler, and a loading ramp in the bed. There's a shop vac in the front seat.

After all that was done, I went and got a couch.

If someone made a truck in this size, an actual compact truck, but with modern safety equipment, I'd be in line to buy one.

Now that is getting things done. I would have to agree. They are very versatile trucks.

Now you just need to plop in that new motor. ;)
