Sexy.
As for fogs, like I said when I did mine I literally just moved the bracket out and only held it with one bolt. It stayed solid like that for years.

It took enough effort to get the front all mounted up correctly and the under panels and all that crap that I'll probably do the fogs over the winter. I didn't have the captive nut clips for mounting the under panels to the bumper cover, so I just have washers and nuts on there for now and using the original bumper cover bolts with the spacer neck on them so it doesn't crush the bumper cover. Basically I put it all together and then slid it on the car, which actually worked reasonably well.
Correct clips should be on the way. Supposedly no more correct wheelwell covers available, but mine fit well enough and are nearly new.

That looks bad ass! Better knowing it’s not a slow ass vehicle too!

When you're saying wheel well covers you mean the front splash guard that attaches to the fender and the bumper right? Interesting that you say there are none left. I just bought some maybe 6 months ago.
As for the under panel mounting there is a bar that acts as a lower support that has the nuts in it for the lower under panel mounting. I had one way back when I first put the 99 bumper on, but ended up not using it because I didn't have any under panels with the car. I still don't so my plan is to install a splitter. Add some form and function.

The black bar doesn't have any nuts in it, and is actually a 3-part thing. Two of them are part of the side under covers, and the center is a separate piece. Those all go outside the bumper cover, and there is a captive nut insert that slides into a slot molded in the bumper cover and into the hole on the bumper cover. Then you bolt through the side undercovers. The center undercover and bar bolts into the metal support piece that goes into the bumper and attaches the radiator guide duct (that I don't have).

Ah, it's been many years so my memory is fuzzy.
You should be able to purchase generic captive nuts to do the job.
Is the radiator guide duct the same on 99 as it is on earlier models?

I was able to source the captive nuts with the correct clips through on online parts source, so I've got that covered. I'll re-do it over the winter since I'll want to add the intercooler ducting and foglights too. For now, I need to tune it for high boost and E85 and see if I can get it to the track and make one all-out glory pass and get someone to video it. I'm certain they'll kick me off the track immediately, and there's no way I'm putting a rollbar in this car.
Yes, the part number for the radiator guide duct is supposed to be the same for all years, but I can't even find the part in ASA so I don't know what the part number is. The only difference is that it needs to clear the '99 coolant tank, but I think it would anyways as that panel comes up behind or next to the hood locking mechanism.
The car made it to the All-Mitsu Cookout and back with zero issues, so that's good. Water temp stayed a bit below half on the stock gauge - I'll have to look at my AEM logs to see where it is at. Made some strong 15 psi highway pulls, but either the car is really rich (which seems to be the actual case) or my AEM isn't reading the wideband correctly. I have a way to interface the AEMnet from the widebands into the EMS and log the raw data from that and display it correctly in AEMdata, so then I can remap the A/F to the voltage that the EMS is seeing. Then I'll have some confidence in that to be able to tune better. It did go through about half a tank of gas in 110 miles, so it does seem to be using more fuel than usual.
Pulls strong though!

I'll see if I can check my duct to see if it has a part number stamped on it. I just stashed it back inside the car today so I can get to it quickly.
I'll look around cause I could swear I have another around here too, If I do, and its in good shape I'll let you know and I can sell it to you cheap.

That'd be great if you have one. I haven't really looked around much for one yet, but it would seem that most anyone with a FMIC will probably have one laying around. But maybe people just throw them out like I guess I did.

I’ve seen stock gauge gauge half way and it be 220 plus degrees. I’ve been good at 12psi, I’ve been tempted to up it to around 15 to see what she thinks.

Matt, I haven't had any luck in finding my other duct that I thought I had, but I did get a part number
MB640794
Its described as DUCT, FR BUMPER AIR GUIDE, CTR
Another few numbers that came up with it was MB889078 and MB935444

My local Mitsu dealer was able to figure it out, so I should have one on the way. Thanks!

I was trying to get ready to drag race this weekend, but the weather looks like crap and now the track is going to do some work to add a center concrete barrier all the way down the track, so they aren't having any more events after this weekend until next spring.
Ugh. Oh well, I guess maybe I can sort out a few last quirks and have it ready to rock in the spring.
I bought an AEM AQ-1 datalogger that logs everything from the EMS and also can log my X-series widebands via AEMnet directly, so I should be able to dial in the sensors properly (or at least gain some trust in them).
Looking to buy a 4-post lift to more effectively store vehicles in the back garage over the winter as well. There's a local vendor who has a rather nice lift, and I was going to go pick one up this weekend but now my Avalanche has some sort of problem. Sounds like a collapsed AFM lifter from what Google comes back with. Argh.

Why 4 post instead of 2? Are there really that ma h failures out there?

- Better for storage
- Drip Trays
- Can move it around the garage on casters
- Doesn't need to be anchored
- Can put other things on it like tractor, snowmobiles, ATVs, etc if I need to

Woah can move the whole thing around? That is actually pretty dang nifty.

Um yeah, I didnt know about all that. You got a link to one that can be moved on casters?
