Lots of good reviews thus far, so not as worried. I like that its using their 1.6L DI Turbo motor along with their well tested 6 speed auto.
Do the smaller diesels have to use a def additive? I always wished they did a diesel hybrid. Electric to get going where diesel sucks. Diesel to cruise with where electric sucks.

It's not a diesel. DI is direct injected.

Thanks. Glad to see the love.
In other news the interior is black. It appears to be a bit harder to come by compared to all the rest. Only the Pecan Brown appears more rare. Here are your options:
Obsidian Black.
Supersonic Gray.
Pecan Brown.
Forest Green.
Black Ink.
I don't know the difference between the two blacks or the black that I'm getting other than mine says (black/black) which we have seen before and liked. Should look like the color choice below...

Decided to put a large down payment, so i took a check in yesterday after work. Turns out you can also pay with credit card up to $5,000. I decided to do both, so i can get my points. LOL!

Nice. I do all my daily spending through my card and then pay it off pretty much immediately. I've also been spending ~$225 a week to buy pizza for the office. So I get reimbursed and I get my points. Not that I'm planning to buy any more cars any time soon, but I'll have to keep that idea in mind.

I tried to buy a used car once on a credit card for the points/cash back but they wouldn't let me do more than $2k on the card.

That's a fair amount to spend each week on pizza but a great idea. Hopefully its in one of the segments where you get increased cash back/points.
I do the same with my credit cards. I purchase everything with them and have set to autopay at the next billing cycle. That way i dont get dinged.
Purchasing new cars isn't a tier on my rewards card so it will likely only be 1% back. Ill take the $50 though.

I get that. It really depends on the dealer. When i bought my RAM they wouldn't let me use a card at all. They have to be willing to incur the card fees which are over 3% in most cases.

They let me put half my downpayment on the card when I bought the Jeep. I gladly took the cash back hah.

We do the card thing when we fill up at a store that just offers discounts on their cards. Think ingles card (but gas station) and fill up a fire truck. Not out any money but get ton of points.
