[quote=""DCIV""]A guy at work says “Subaru’s are cars designed by chicks, for chicks, who like chicks....and vape”. It’s a little over the top but the point is clear.

Drove up to Mt St Helens to try and see the aurora borealis that was supposed to happen tonight. Ended up not seeing it but we messed around with long exposures and light painting.

Nope. But he also thinks if he can buy a soda in the same displacement of an engine it’s a joke of a motor. There are some stupid fast 2.0’s out there.

I have the cheap straight ones from oreilly. If these don’t work I’ll order the eBay ones that have cat material in them lol.

Screen is gorgeous, fitment is good, and the responsiveness is much quicker than the previous android units ive had.

It’s custom fit for the car but they make similar models for most vehicles.

How big is that screen? It looks really good.

I thought about getting a 9 or 10 inch one for the Hummer, but I didn't like how far it stuck out. And it blocked the 4WD controls.

I was thinking jeff, does your hummer just use the regular GM radio? it looked similar to the ones in the trucks, i bet you could find something that fits the cutout exactly if so. Something like this.

i cant find one with the latest hardware, but this is one gen older. The newer stuff has an intel 8 core.

Could even do something like this and adjust the screen over to the right a bit, i dont think itll block the controls, they usually dont extend out much further than the DIN opening

We've got an 8" Kenwood unit in it. It fits perfectly. This is what I was trying to avoid with a bigger screen.
