Probably best to just install a 2nd engine in the bed.

Dinghy tow a spare car.

But then we're back to needing lockers to get it off the property and onto real roads.

Coop just can't win.

If you look over here folks, we have another classic Coop thread where he asks a question, gets an answer, and then proceeds to ignore all of it and do things his way anyway
How much range are you expecting to gain from this? 10 miles? You're not going to get very far without an alternator unless you load the whole bed with batteries.
A typical battery will give 60-80 minutes of reserve current. That's average driving time if you're smart enough to turn off all unnecessary loads once you realize the alt died.

How far up his driveway can he get? What if he is towing his boat?

The boat can’t tow up the driveway. The transition from driveway to road is so steep it would bottom out the trailer.

I wish I was joking.

It was a lake lot given to me. It’s worth over 80k. You all need to visit some Gatlinburg driveways. Mine is nothing compared to some of them. Yes it’s sucks. But I have an amazing house in an amazing area.

Well honestly, I can't say anything. I can't even drive out of my own driveway here at the townhouse if I have the hitch bike carrier on the back without dragging it. And forget going up from the cabin without dragging it.. so in reality I tease you a lot for it but am having issues myself haha.

This is true. We goof on him, but I don't think any of us has a view that can compete with his.

And no one here can upset me so it’s honestly funny to me.

I just want my truck to run right.

Can you walk up this proposed driveway or would it be classified as a hike, maybe mild bouldering event? Should i bring my climbing harness?

Just trying to coordinate my outfits for my visit.
