The brackets to bolt it down were stupid. Every one wouldn’t fit where I needed it to. So I just drilled into the metal rack on it and bolted it perfectly to that. I’m happy with the size and everything. The exhaust doesn’t aim directly at it but I would like it to turn down a little more. I was trying to think what to do to help that corner from getting hot as one thing I wanted to do was use it to haul trash bags up my hill. Maybe some wood on the outside? Maybe a different tip? Maybe just some reflective tape? Thoughts?

The 4 wheeler has a cig outlet already. But kind of pointless as I can’t really find a plug in charger that goes in it that’s water proof. Anyone see any reason I can’t swap in something like this?

https://amzn.to/3hbGsq6

I use the 4 wheeler all the time, have a basket on the back, take things down to the lake and back up, clean up sticks with it, take trash up…heck I even used the headlights to empty dirt out of the avalanche one night when it was dark. It would be nice to have the ability to charge our phone, or little fans we use for the baby, or even the little portable speaker we use sometimes. But unless I want to keep some Tupperware out there with a cord and charger in it I need something waterproof.

Started to leak fuel from where you select where the fuel comes from, main tank, reserve, off.

Got a rebuild kit as I’m sure it’s just an o-ring but wanted the correct o-ring first time.

Pontoon in, moving the trailer around after because it’s so much easier this way.

Had the leak fixed over the summer. Some reason it’s back. Wonder if I just need to replace the whole thing.

Replaced the whole 4 wheeler instead of doing maintenance?

Since you all can’t comprehend without a picture book.

Oh a fuel shutoff valve. Now that makes sense.

Went to start it over the snow and it wouldn’t fire off. So finally nice. I took the oldest out. Let her air up the tires. Then we talked about the 3 things an engine has to have to run.

Fuel, air, spark.

So we took the plastics off and cleaned first. Then we looked at the air filter. Then I showed her starting fluid. Luckily a little shot of starting fluid was all it needed. And it fired right up. Took the chance to put her hand infront of the carb so she could feel it sucking in. How an engine is an air pump and the carb is before so it sucks fuel into the engine.

I don’t know what sticks and what doesn’t. But she saw it not start. And then starting fluid made it start. And she is excellent at airing up tires.
