So is he clipping the lower part of the wheel to make it flat? Almost thought it was a 4G Eclipse as its close.
It would need to have the 3G airbag, which is much smaller than the 1G airbag.
Gotcha. Maybe one day we can compare.

He says modifications are needed for a 1G and 2G, but not a 3G. I thought the 3G wheel fits a 1G and 2G no problem?

If it’s anything like my 2001 Montero the center spline and hardware are completely different.

It's just weird cause I thought the 3G fit no issues, and his post says 1990-1996 needs modifications, but 1997-2000 don't. Doesn't make sense to me. :d ontknow: Unless it's something with the steering wheel cover :d ontknow:

The column and shroud hardware were the same from 96 onward. The clockspring changed in 97. So probably a different airbag connector.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

He posted pictures. You can’t tell. I’m not worried about it.

Maybe steering wheel radio controls too? Cause I think 97+ you could at one point get a pioneer adapter to let the stock steering wheel audio buttons work. I know cause Pezcore had it on his 97.

He hit me up with extra shipping charges as covid has stopped a lot of overseas shipping.

So this expensive wheel just got worse.

This probably doesn't help you much, but I just got a small package from Britain-land in under a week. Sent on the 28th, arrived today.

The Tangerine Tantrum is upset with Germany right now. Maybe that's why your stuff is delayed.

No shipping from Europe has been super slow during the pandemic. It took my cousin over a month (5 or 6 weeks I think) to get a package from Norway. They are catching up now though since there are more flights, but they were WAY behind. My last one from Norway took 2 weeks.

Can't wait to see what it looks like on the dash. At the moment, it looks very "fat" sitting there lol.

I didn’t notice that till someone else said that. I think it’s no bigger than modern steering wheels though....I hope.
