I’ve said it. Your right. I just am never at a computer and I’m sure it’s easy on a phone but just want to sit at a computer.

Harness is done. Hope it works. Only one was not the same color so I’m gonna go head and say ryan was correct. I just grabbed one wire and looked it up.

I will plug it up tomorrow and see.

Usually it's the dimmer/illumination or the parking brake thats different. Or power antenna / amp remote. You may need to run your own ground iirc the 3s doesn't have one in the harness.

And I have sound!

Now if I can just get a speaker trim and figure out how to hook my amp up to my subs I will be thrilled!

Made some brackets tonight and mounted my stereo, got it all working minus the subs. Kind of disappointed honestly. I did so well there for a while and really think my wiring is on point. Don’t know what’s up. Gonna have a local look at it as he does a lot of stereo stuff.

Make sure the polarity on all your speakers is correct or you get phase cancellation and it'll sound like crap.

It’s not sound like crap...it’s no sound out of the subs.

Subs should be easy. Hook up RCA cables from back of headunit to amp, hook power wire to battery, hook ground wire to solid ground, hook remote wire to accessory power, hook sub to speaker out.

Check head unit settings. Some have option to turn sub out off.

Bringing this back. The avalanche can’t play Bluetooth and has no aux. plus I would like a back up camera with it....do they also have one for the front? I know some vehicles have front sensors, has that made its way to the aftermarket yet? Not really needed but would be curious how expensive that is.

But ideally something that’s doesn’t draw attention for people wanting to break in and possible back up camera. Or even for now is there something I can add to the factory to have an aux in?
