Re: 3.5L 6g74 swap info
I'm pretty sure he used a pajero or debonaire engine. The only person I know of that has done a montero engine is overseas and he has a single on it with some crazy coolant pipes going all over the damn place. If I remember correctly his name is Oleg Reznik or something like that.

Re: 3.5L 6g74 swap info
mike isnt that 3.5 from a montero not pajero? it is listed as montero
Re: 3.5L 6g74 swap info
you can go to the place in patterson and pick out your own engine. Just pick a 3.5L engine that looks like a non-turbo 3000GT engine and you are set

haha seriously...wonder what they would say if we were like "we will buy 10 pajero longblocks if u discount them"
Re: 3.5L 6g74 swap info
If you go there in person with cash in hand you can wheel and deal them on a cheaper price. If they have to ship the engine, you're screwed. I get stuff from this company all of the time. They are good guys to deal with in person.
Re: 3.5L 6g74 swap info
what is a good deal? they are selling for 1394....good deal to me is like a grand or cheaper lol....i dont care if the engine is high miles or spun since id do a rebuild on it but i doubt they import spun bearings
Do you guys know if anyone has successfully completed a 3.5L TD05 car?
how about a dr1200 car with a 3.5 liter pushing it?
dropped the spool 1200-1500 rpms, is a customer of mine here in St Louis, had it at the NG this year hood-less
and I am very close to turning the key on my daily driver with and IPS TDO5 it with a 3.5 liter, should be a very fun pump gas car
I'm going to go out on a limb and say the TD05 3.0 manifolds won't fit due to the heads sticking father out. Once again, I've never done it, but I would assume...
Too bad Bill's clutch died I'd have loved to see that car run.

So did Bill Buehl make it to the NG? I'd love to see some pics of his car.
