The engine also ticked really bad. What would cause that? (I don't know alot about these engines)

That is what I thought too when I first saw it. We had a prelude with a blown gasket before.

The watery stuff could just be water from the air conditioner. If it stunk really bad it could be clogged up and getting moldy.

Do you think it is worth getting the car then for the $? It will need tires before winter and i will put on new brake pads.

I finally convinced my wife to buy an XJ, now to find one for under 1000 that is worth it.
