I filled out a form that gives you space to give your first 3 choices. You send it in and they call you if the 3 are taken. If not, you get the plate and new stickers in the mail.

I ended up putting what I said I wanted as far as personalized, and I got the endangered resources plate.

They gave me normal plates to put on for now and when I get the new ones, I can do whatever I want with the ones they gave me.
