So what’s my next step? Do I worry about them being different? Do I contact BS to see if there is something on his end? The math is correct in the ecu and that’s where BS gets its info. I also can’t see AEM being wrong for its gauge and it’s sensor.

I would be okay if they were the same up until 18.5 but they are different through everything.

I'm not certain that it is okay to use the 0-5v wire to feed multiple devices. That could affect the accuracy of the signal.

I remember asking about that when I did it to BS, he didn’t seem worried but I don’t know any other way to get signal there unless I mount multiple Wideband sensors.

Isn’t there a Chrome-mode in LCDBC where it gets the wideband reading from the ecu instead of via direct input?

OK, so you only have the wideband hooked to the ECU pin? If so, then it should just be a matter of adjusting the wideband calibration values in Chrome to make it match what the gauge is showing you.

One way you could go about it is to log the raw wideband volts from the ECU, and make a video of both the laptop screen and the wideband's gauge so that you can see what the A/F is on the gauge and the volts from the ECU and then use that to determine the new values in Chrome. Sucky for sure, but that's probably how I would approach it.

I’m curious if there is lag and that’s all I’m seeing. The Wideband never really just sits still, even off it seems to move around.

I think the chrome values should stay what the sensor needs. I think I should try and do a log tomorrow and see what it says. Maybe it’s logging perfect. Maybe it’s not.

If it’s not then I guess we need to dig deeper.

Lol. So most my cooking is actually by a diverted hanging below the car and pushes air right up into the radiator. I have pushed fans on the front when it gets too hot and I don’t really have any issues.

With all that said, I’m sure yours is better.

I have a lot less intercooler surface area for sure, so my intake temps are likely to be higher. I figured with running ethanol that was an okay tradeoff to keep coolant temps down. My cooling was a bit on the edge before with the FMIC and the front 16G radiating heat directly into the radiator.

If you are pushing air up between the FMIC and the radiator, isn't that going to make a wall of air to reduce flow through the FMIC?

Well my thoughts on that were that the intercooler gets the first wave of air pressure so some HAS to go through. Also let it handle itself. I cut the inside lip out of the 1g bumper so air gets pushed into and up.

I am sure it’s not ideal, I really did this whole set up while I was broke, in a old asphalt driveway. I made a lot of stuff work and justified it in my head because that’s all I really could do. I’m still undoing a lot of thing. And hence why I didn’t slap the bumper back on today and took a step back to realign some things before I put the bumper on.

Too nice out today and while the little girl was at her nap I got to wash and wax both our primary vehicles. Also used this stuff I got a long time ago for the seals. Heard the spyder people talking about it. Pfizer is something like that. Can’t really tell anything by looking other than it made a nice slick coat on the seals.

Anyone get their daily’s clean on this random amazing weather?

Its raining here today, but I stopped by the car wash and sprayed the Lancer off last night to get the salt and crud off it.

Crash bar trimmed on one of the supports, painted, reinstalled, everything aligned and bumper back on!

It appears to replenish some of the oils in the seals to repair dry-cracking and make the seal more resilient so it can form a seal more effectively. I think there's also some UV stabilizers and other things in it. The end result is seals that last a lot longer and seal better. Especially important on Spyders since you can't get any seals from Mitsubishi or ASC any longer.
