"...with its original owner for 19 years before it was acquired for the seller’s collection in March 2018."

Yeah, if it is only in your "collection" for 6 months before you have it up for auction, then it really isn't in your collection.......

Not really feeling like an SL is ever going to be a collector car.

VR-4's have to become a real collector car before the SL's ever will

'99 VR4s and Spyder VR4s seem to be fetching a little more money lately, which is nice. Not that I'm ever going to sell until I have to.

That Pantera.. WANT! For some reason I have always LOVED those. Hmm didn't think you were allowed to sell a LaFerrari? And that E63S Wagon isn't too far from me..

What about 96TT Stealths? Hell of a lot more rare.

The LaFerrari is already 3 years old. I'd have to imagine any anti-flipping clauses are expired by now.

Maybe... Rarer, but they seem to be less desirable for whatever reason. I'd consider buying Oskar's "Last TT" if he ever wanted to sell it. We talked about it a bit at the All-Mitsu Cookout.

You would think that with rarity and actually being built like the GTO (without all the gimmick AWS, ECS, etc.) they would attract as much attention.

Doesn't matter how rare it is if nobody wants it.

Yeah my Explorer was rare too but doesn't mean I got a bunch of extra money for it

The “gimmicks” give the car its personality. I like that they are there...

Initially I hated the AWS when autocrossing, until I figured out that if you just hammered through the steering transition the car would just stick anyways and I picked up tons of corner speed after that. My car doesn’t have Active Aero, but my ‘94 VR4 did - and it was just one of those little things that made me grin when it would engage. The Stealth and later VR4s just don’t seem to have as much character. Just an opinion.
