I wonder if the SLS and AMG GT are going to be hit by the hammer of depreciation like other German cars, or if they were built in sufficiently small numbers to avoid that fate. The R8 is the only other comparable car I can think of, and it seems to be holding up reasonably well.

But I bet the price jumps by about 3k in the last couple of hours here and would be out of my price range

I saw a blue SS with Holden badging on Saturday. It looked pretty good.

moms boyfriend just got a blue ss for 33k, 40k miles. He was about to fly to idaho for one (wanted the blue) and this one popped up an hour away.

What year?

I was almost exactly right it sold for over $37k

Parts costs on the 360 aren't completely insane. Labor costs are what kills you on those

A buddy of mine picked up a 430 last winter. He managed to find a copy of the software that you need to do things like reset the clutch management system and all the other crap that the Ferrari mechanics like to charge you a lot of money for. I wouldn't get one without having that diagnostic software...

Diagnostic software is such a scam.

It really is a scam, but at this point it is almost necessary to have it if you want to do maintenance/tuning on some of these more "advanced" cars.

Even on the Corvette, if you don't have something like HP Tuners you are flying somewhat blind, but at least you don't have to do clutch adjustments electronically or bullshit like that.

So I’ve rode in a 6 wheel vehicle that does the same...never...ever...will I own one. No suspension, any wave really stops you, it’s fun to look and talk about but even more impractical than my Humvee.
