There was an article somewhere about how the f150 being so expensive and still being the #1 selling vehicle is the reason why people are having trouble when it comes to debt and retirement.

Re: Truck Yeah!
Heh here we have about 12k in car debt and I'm not super thrilled about it because I doubled it when I bought the truck
Re: Truck Yeah!
I owe 16ish on the Corvette. Everything else we own outright.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

I have zero on the Caddywagon and Ducati. The gf leases so not sure how to consider that (in fact she is picking up her new leased car tomorrow hah).

Re: Truck Yeah!
I could pay off the truck and Outback today if I wanted to but just feel like it's not the best use of savings right now.

Re: Truck Yeah!
We could pay off our cars right now as well, but were going to use that money to refinance our house instead.

Yes it's the number 1 selling vehicle, but most people aren't buying $60k trucks. Ford sells a lot of XT and XLT's which start at $28,745 and $34,760 respectively.

Yup. Could pay off cars. I honestly keep my car payment at 100 a month for credit purposes only. I think I only owe 3200 on the escape.

Oh. 2300 in car debt. No point in paying it off at 2.9%

Re: Truck Yeah!
Filled up at Costco today put in 25 gallons. I'm averaging 16.6mpg overall since I bought the truck.

Re: Truck Yeah!
Lexus gets 17-19, I’m ok with that. I’m sure after lift and tires that will drop. As long as it doesn’t dip below 12-13 I won’t be too upset.

Re: Truck Yeah!
Also, owe 13k on the GX, and 18k on the sti. Sti is like 7% interest, not sure if it’s worth it to try and refinance or just pay it down more aggressively.

That's really good for the GX my Sequoia struggled to get much better than 15mpg.
