Not yet. I finished buttoning it up and filling the fluids while listening to a conference call, and I didn’t have time to get the under body plastic up during lunch.

Some of it was hanging down so I could get to certain things when I was working on the car

Looks like my oil pressure sensor is leaking out of the plastic. Good news is a new one is $25

New oil pressure sensor/switch installed and it's not leaking anymore. Got gas in it and ran it through the carwash. I submitted the paperwork to remove it from non-op status online yesterday, but I still need to smog it before I can really drive it. I also need to figure out what I'm doing for wheels and tires for real now. The wheels on it don't all match (1 is a different design) and the tires have a 2017 date code with all kinds of cracks on them.

It's really good to see it here after all the misery its caused you. Congrats.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

I'll feel even better when I get it smogged so I feel a little better about driving it. Then I'm just waiting on the sticker.

Isn’t it nice driving something small after that big truck all the time.Chris GTO TT wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 4:27 pm I'll feel even better when I get it smogged so I feel a little better about driving it. Then I'm just waiting on the sticker.

Imagine going from a f250 to the vette. Lol. It's nuts.

I like different aspects of a big vehicle, but I swear…for 90% of the time I want to be in a little fun car.

Excited you got it fixed. Now you have a little sporty 4 door for the whole family. If i can find an Evo 9 at a decent price i would be right there beside you.

Unfortunately the time for reasonably priced Evos that aren’t destroyed has long since passed.

It passed the smog inspection today. I scanned the certificate and attached it to my open request with the DMV Virtual Office.
