KBB says 40-44 trade in for both of our cars. That's interesting. I only paid 45 for mine to begin with.

You only pay taxes on the difference between sale price and trade in. At least that’s how it was in Kansas and is in Arkansas.

Now you understand why I was going thru cars a lot over the last few years. Sometimes you can really juggle things around to your advantage or even if it's a loss, it's something acceptable for the amount of use you got from it.
