I used a similar busses extractor on the seats I pulled out of a junkyard for the forester, amazing what it pulls out.

Not things that you need. The truck still has the trailer braking package built into the monitor. You just dont have the adjustable settings down on the dash. I have them on my work truck and my ram and hardly every use them. But i guess thats up to you.

It will activate electric trailer brakes without the controller in the dash?

Pretty sure it did. It didnt have as much customization, but there was trailer sway assist, and i think one other trailer option. I towed car trailers behind me with electric brakes and it worked fine enough.

Fords red is nicer than most. I wouldnt mind it, but I know you like grays and darker colors more.

I've still been watching for GX's and their prices are starting to get a bit insane. To the point where I can basically buy a similar condition and year Land Cruiser for the same money.

:grumble: I've started getting the dreaded ABS errors, so it's being dropped off at the mechanic my parents use because my OBDII reader can't get ABS info from the Sequoia.

Possibly true.

Does this one have that multi thousand dollar booster/abs unit integrated into one?
