Don’t know why it was turning on but followed the power wire and disconnected it. So the fans don’t turn on anymore with the wing.

Now to put this car back together.

Took the car out for a little test drive. It did great. I needs its oil changed as there was a lot of rich running, I also want to adjust some belts, and clean more but it ran pretty well. Felt faster at lower psi than ever.

This is also after a while debockle where I made it so the wing operates off the front switch, and I left it on “off” like I always would, and it killed the batter because the relay was activated for a week.

Anyways, battery charged back up, got maybe 1 random count of knock that came and went when doing a 3rd gear pull. It felt great though. I had to let out and thought damn that felt good! Prob because I haven’t driven anything fast in a while and when it was running it was running poorly.

Well she made it to practice which is about 35 miles from my house. Also got some fresh gas in her....45 bucks worth!

Driving it again. Deff needs an oil change, gonna pick up the oil on my way home. Man I love driving a quick car. Pulling into traffic, getting through traffic, just so much fun.

Haven’t had any issues with the wing working how the new mod had it until earlier. I was driving like a fool and when I looked in my rear mirror the wing was down when I didn’t put it down. Wouldn’t go up, could hear the relays clicking but it wouldn’t go up.

Hmmmmm.

Changed the oil. I know that may seem small but it’s nice to just go downstairs, do one thing and drive it the next day.

The oil may not have needed to be changed but there were some really rich couple drives and when headed out...why not.

Heading out to brg tomorrow. I had a small oil leak where I didn’t tighten my drain plug all the way. Fixed that. I ziptied some wires that kept dropping into the clutch area up. I also hooked up my Wideband to my blackstealth logger.

I have a whole slew of things to pack up like clothes/food/money ext but I should be heading out around noon to 1 tomorrow.

At some point I lost a hood pin nut that held the hood down on one side. I got to replace that.

I also replaced the Wideband sensor as mine took a shit on me, I would be under power and it would just be giving me three dashes. Sometimes it would come back sometimes it wouldn’t. Simple area to get to, simple fix.

So I had the new Wideband sensor in, worked great. A week later I go for a drive, sensor stuck at 14.7. Doesn’t move.

Why would it do that?

I don’t care if your tune is perfect the gauge is gonna move some and my tune is rich some places and lean others. Just don’t know why it picked to hold the same.

Lol, too much fuel can kill an o2 sensor, thats why i asked. 14.7 would be lean for anything aside from cruising/idle anyway.

Even in less than 200 miles?

How and where did you mount your o2?

It’s mounted at a 90 degree angle in the downpipe. Previous o2 sensor lasted 10 plus years in that situation.

Drove the car to work yesterday. Damn this car just always wants to go faster. I pulled out and was at mid 3rd gear over 70mph (in a 50) and the car was just like.....faster! So I pushed it to the end of 3rd, hit 4th and shut it down. I was over 120...hit 11.4psi and 1 count if knock. I think I have the 10psi springs in so don’t quite know why I hit 11.4. I need to check to see what the boost controller is set on, possible 12 just been so long since I looked at it.

Man I love that car!

Internal or external wastegates? And did the boost hit 10, then rise to 11.4? I have 9lb springs in my wastegates, and my boost creeps up to around 11 by redline, because the wastegate isn't large enough to pass enough exhaust.

External tials. I wasn’t hardcore watching, just pulled it up on the blackstealth logger after I shut it down. They are 38mm and should be more than enough but anything with this car is possible.

I want to do external gates on my setup over the winter. Internal gates just seems so sketchy on clocked turbos.

I really like my set up, wish I wouldn’t have done all the work for adapter plates and it took me forever, but I’m happy with it now.

I had a local exhaust shop that litterally did it in an hour and charged me 120 bucks too. It was amazing. If I had known that from the start it would have never had internals.
