My buddies 2020 do not light up I don’t think.

I’ll have to check out the explorer and RS when I get home. I don’t think the RS does, but I think the explorer does.

I even opened up the 2019 USB hub I got with my console, to see if I could add the LEDs back in. It's technically possible, but it I don't think I can managed such tiny soldering in such an enclosed space. I'd just buy a slightly older or newer hub, but they average $50-90 on eBay. It's just not worth it.

With the WRX running and moving under it's own power the truck is finally in the garage

That's a snug fit. Still better than what I have to work with though. At least you can open your door all the way.

Yeah it's a bit tighter side to side than my old truck since this one is an inch wider. Length wise it's a lot easier since it's a full foot shorter than the old truck.

It only fits because of the tandem spot.

Mine doesn't fit. Too tall. Length would be fine.

I'm really rather impressed with the gas mileage this thing is capable of. This weekend we drove to Lake Oroville, 63 miles each way, we got gas in Oroville at a tribe's casino gas station (like a dollar a gallon cheaper) and was getting 23mpg on the entire drive home. My old truck would have struggled to get 20 on the same drive. Obviously it's never going to pay for itself, but it's nice to have a slightly lower fuel bill now.

Also it was fun watching the remaining range go from 590 miles to 638 while driving 63 miles

Nice.

10 speed in that?

WDFW truck with the 5.0 and 10 speed is getting about 20 average for me.

Yeah 3.5 Ecoboost with the 10spd. Outside of my towing the fillips have been pretty much all 17-19mpg. Compared to the 14-15 my old 5.0 got.

How do you like the 10 speed?

Personally, not a huge fan. Have had a few times when it feels like it doesn't want to engage right. Happened in this truck and my rental a few years ago that had the same 10 speed. Also hunts for the right gear a lot. I get it for a mpg standpoint but I think an 8 speed is the most that should be used unless you are in a diesel.

I generally like it a lot more than my old 6spd, but since I went to the 3.5 Ecoboost it's not a true apples to apples comparison. The 6spd was fine for grocery getter duties, but when doing truck things it always felt like it was in the wrong gear. Some of that is likely because the gen1 coyote had next to no torque below 3000rpm. My biggest complaint about the 10spd is it has some clunky shifts, up and especially down, into 3rd and 6th.

Ya I don't have any experience with the 5.0 and the 6 speed. At least not in truck form. Can't remember what the mustang had but I assume it was the 6 speed since a 2012. My truck is a 6 speed but a completely different motor and everything since a F250 with the 6.2.

My truck has the 8 speed and i really like how it adjusts to engine speed and load. It doesn't hunt. They did a good job matching it to the 5.7. Honestly surprised they haven't worked out the 10 speed quirks yet.

They have finally resolved the mechanical issues with the CDF Drum and bearing change, what's left is just lazy or bad programming. It's comical small tuning shops have figured out how to give the 10R80 smooth shifts but Ford can't figure it out. Now I get they have different aims, but still.
