Is the "locked" just locking the center diff, so power goes to both the front and rear axles vs going the path of least resistance?

Yes but it's a torsen center diff with the ability to lock, so even unlocked it isn't fully open. The front and rear diffs are open but in 4lo in 1st gear it's supposed to activate A-TRAC which is Toyota's brake based diff lock function.

Ok thats similar to my Jeep then they call it "Part time and Full time". The A-Track should be nice. Mitsubishi incorporated a similar technology in the 2003+ full size monteros that a lot of the guys like over the previous Hybrid LSD diffs.

That should be fun to take off-roading very soon. ;)

Here's a video of it working on a 4Runner. It seems to work pretty well but you have to drive in a particular way to force it to work.

Nice. Little jerky but appears to work as intended.

I just saw a 3000gt on Facebook with over 300k...maybe we should all buy those based on how reliable they are.

Nah maybe if it was a Stealth. Those were not only way cooler but also way more reliable.

Yeah of course a true locker is better, but these brake based lockers don't seem to get the credit they deserve.

I’d take an lsd 95 percent of the time vs locker.

Very nice!!! Love the open bow!

Our Malibu was the first competition ski boat with an open bow. We love it. I’ve launched it 3 times now with the avalanche. Our little one loves it. I need to get me a bikini top like yours though. Our one that came with it is high and the shade it puts off is like nothing. Absolutely nothing.

That's my parent's old boat it's an 87 Centurion they bought it brand new, but are getting ready to sell it because they just bought another boat. We took it out with them as a bit of an experiment and early Father's day activity.
