Though to be fair he does say in the video, he’s not sure if it would’ve just been faster to remove the exhaust lol

17 year old truck with over 150k miles on it, but spent life in Washington, so this is how rusty it is under it.

They asked if I wanted them. Wasn't going to complain.

Debating on removing the side steps. Not tall enough I need to use them. But Danielle does use them. I hate the way they look. Might take them off, then if Danielle really struggles just get one of those small steps for her side or something.

Looks good underneath. Midwesterners would be jealous.

Yeah I prefer no steps but we kinda need them for the kids.

I say keep the cap and ditch the bed rug.

Airing it out now. Was really damp and smelled weird. Might take it out and look into getting a decked system.

Keep them both. I liked the runners as well. Makes for super easy access.

They were in the way for me. I don't use them and I kept hitting my legs on them getting in/out. Only thing I ever used them on was the F250. Never used them on the Raptor or the work rig either. All they do for me is give me something to hit my leg on and catch crap when off-road.

To be fair they double as disposable rock sliders. ;)

I am not talking about rocks. Talking about large sticks and stuff like that. The bottom of these were hollow. Think of big upside down U. They would easily catch stuff and crap will easily get built up into them. I might end up getting some nicer ones down the line if needed, but these OEM ones are crap.

God damn this truck is so easy to drive after being in the Raptor. Easier to see out of. Better steering feel. Can get through areas without having to check my mirrors to make sure I am not hitting something. Easier to turn around in my driveway. Peppier right off the line given the NA V8. Overall a much better choice for what I truly needed.

Kind of want to put a muffler on it. Don't care about full cat-back for "performance". Just want at least a little bit of growl. Getting on the throttle it is nice to hear the V8 again over the raptor annoying ass sound, but a little exhaust roar would be nice. Thinking a mild Borla or something.
