9" of snow hit us Wednesday night. Roads are trash. I feel all the plow trucks went and hibernated for the winter.
They say we are in for another cell this evening but that it might be rain instead. Here's to hoping, but im not holding my breath.

It hauls...wood, pretty well. I really need to get new tires though. I have a flat spot on one and its a killer at high speeds.

The sti has a spun bearing and the forester just needs tires and to be put back together.

72k I believe. My guess is oil pump came apart, it’s a somewhat common issue on them.

I thought ringland was a common issue?! No reason for any newer vehicle to not make it to 150k period.

Little update. Got tired of my 60 mph flat spot on one of my tires, so i make an upgrade. Luckily the new wheels clear fenders and wheel wells.
Definitely like the smoother ride, but too much wagon wheel?

Change the look a lot. Make it look….newer? I bet it will grow on you.

I wouldn't have thought such large wheels would look right on that little truck, but they look good. It helps that they're on real tires and not little rubber bands.

I agree that it makes it look newer. The larger rotating mass does make it harder to accelerate and stop now. lol.
I was contemplating keeping the stock wheels, but putting 31's on, but these ones popped up all ready to go so why not.

Time for a turbo kit and brake swap!

I wouldn't be against the BBK brake idea.
There is however an upgrade that i already did to my Montero. Its the 2nd gen 2 pot caliper upgrade vs. my single pot. Its quite noticeable and a simple bolt on affair.

I wonder if a AWD 3S brake system would fit.
