How many miles is too many miles on a C5/C6 vette or 6.0 GTO?

Found about 15 localish vettes between 10-20k with anywhere from 30-160k miles on them.

And I am cutting major weight. So will help even more. I used to fit in a VR4 back in the day as well when I was even fatter.

Why not a kit car. Plenty of them are not horribly expensive and have great power with a v8.

Would be easier to get a mustang or vette though.

Looking at cars/pricing and here are my thoughts:

LS1 f-body - usually beat to hell or highly modded. Clean examples are $ and for the same price I can get a C5, why not a C5?

Newer Camaros (16+) or Mustang GT (13+) if in good condition are same price as nice C5 or decent C6. Why not get the better all around performance (can go around a bend) from a vette? Vette will also get better mpg and hold value better.

Not sure what else I would even look at. GTO are same boat. Decent ones are in the same price bracket as vettes.

The GTO vs Vette is more about what you want the car to do than anything else. The GTO is much more a grand touring car whereas the Vette is more about performance.

Also S550 Mustangs (15+) can go around corners since it has the independent rear suspension.

Even the previous gen from 11-14 with their solid axle wasn't exactly a slouch in the handling dept.

I've had a mustang. Rather try GM. Camaro I don't know. Seeing out sucks balls.

That blue one they fixed the crack with a new part. But it's $23.7k, ls2, mag ride. Needs headlights fixed. Will negotiate price. https://www.dougsmazda.com/auto/used-20 ... e=cars.com

This one is $25.5k but won't negotiate price. https://www.autonationhondaspokanevalle ... 62d761.htm

However is ls3, z51, and much cleaner as well as completely west coast car. No aftermarket stuff so probably beat on less.

Blue is asking me what price I'd like to see. Blue would need close to $4k+ in parts to get it to the silver one level.

Thoughts?
