would not trust subaru to cover a damn thing. performance cars and non, ive known enough people in the louisiana groups to get shit denied. Theyll send an engineer down to the dealer from headquarters just to make up some shit and deny your claim.

Dealership warranty. Not a Subaru one. They offer lifetime warranties on all their new cars and some used ones if they pass inspection. Told me as long as work is done by a dealership they will honor the warranty nationwide.

Yup on new Tahoe they offer lifetime power train. I really wanted to swap out the wife’s but interest rate went up too fast.Duck Vader wrote: ↑Thu Jun 08, 2023 4:55 am My subaru has a lifetime powertrain warranty as long as it gets serviced at dealerships. There are still a handful of dealerships out there offering them. Doesn't need to be a kia to get a long warranty.

You sure about that? This says powertrain is 5/60.

It looks like they'll sell you an upgraded warranty, but it only goes to 8/100 on the high end.

Re: Mom's Kia. Need advice.
Mom got her car back on Thursday. Sounds like all is well. The new engine has a 150k mile warranty. Now all she needs to do is get reimbursed for 6 weeks worth of rental car, and this story will have a happy ending.
