would not trust subaru to cover a damn thing. performance cars and non, ive known enough people in the louisiana groups to get shit denied. Theyll send an engineer down to the dealer from headquarters just to make up some shit and deny your claim.

Dealership warranty. Not a Subaru one. They offer lifetime warranties on all their new cars and some used ones if they pass inspection. Told me as long as work is done by a dealership they will honor the warranty nationwide.

Yup on new Tahoe they offer lifetime power train. I really wanted to swap out the wife’s but interest rate went up too fast.

You sure about that? This says powertrain is 5/60.

It looks like they'll sell you an upgraded warranty, but it only goes to 8/100 on the high end.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

Huh, when I went into the Chevy dealership (this was before winter) it had it banners everywhere.

ah, i have my own bad experiences with aftermarket warranties as well lol. at least it covered the tow and i got a prorated reimbursement lol

Mom got her car back on Thursday. Sounds like all is well. The new engine has a 150k mile warranty. Now all she needs to do is get reimbursed for 6 weeks worth of rental car, and this story will have a happy ending.
