So I talked with a guy who did 3d printed adapters for just about any battery to any tool. I asked about kobalt to ryobi. He said simple tools like the glue gun doesn’t care and works great. But ones that need specific amounts have things to monitor and will not necessarily work. Just throwing that out there.

It shouldn't matter as long as the input voltage and amps are relatively the same. They all use the same lithium battery cells.

Some batteries have circuitry in them, it’s not as simple as just pos and negative

It came in and I charged it up. It’s deff a little bigger than I thought and the jump cables are pretty short. It’s okay as I wanted this but it’s not something you throw under a seat and forget about.
