This made me look up mine it's only 2.67:1 and my final crawl ratio is 41.1:1

I just looked up his and it's 2.57:1 with a final crawl ratio of 33.7:1

I wonder if 2.6ish is some kind of industry standard? The base H3 transfer is 2.64:1.

The upgraded transfer is 4:1 though. Same as a Rubicon Jeep.

Apparently the silverado is 2.72:1 and is the same in the xj.

Looks like the Montero has 1.9 low range but a 4.636 rear.

Lower transfer case gears are available either oem or even lower (3.85) in the aftermarket.
