Man that is pretty cool. I have an idea of its chemical makeup, which would be cool to reproduce.

Put it on the Tahoe, washed a good 5 times. Shinny as can be.

Putting it on the new escape tires right now.

Seriously best product I’ve ever bought. Wash and shine comes back, no sling, and last a long time.

First coating was fine till I got new wheels.

So was it on the edge till we sold it.

Well Coop talked me into it...

Picked up the cleaner and bottle for “trucks”. Tried using a close applicator pad but ended up liking the black foam pads to just rub right on. The cleaner is a legit alkaline base. Killed my hands and completely cleaned the tires in one shot.

I did 2 long applications on my brand new tires. Thought I would have used up more but only used 1/5 maybe.

Really surprised how well the DuraCoat went on. Almost like water. Has a nice cherry like smell as well. Coats built nicely and it dries fast. I did mine in the shade. If it’s warm don’t do it in the sun as it cures pretty quick.

Haven’t driven the truck yet as it takes 24 hours to fully cure. However the coating feels dry to the touch and appears to have fully encapsulated the rubber. It appears it will hold up very well.

I recommend this product and will be using it on my other cars as well.

Hell yeah. Wait till you run through some mud and you think the coating will come off when you clean them....and it doesn’t.

Seriously the most legit product I’ve used. It’s amazing how tire shine spray is still in business. Why would people keep putting that in their car when you have to apply so often and the shit that it slings in your car. Blows me away.

Yea I'm looking forward to getting them dirty. Sounds like i will have to find a new carwash though. Apparently you are not to mix tire shine with the coating. My place automatically applies it.

How many months in are you now coop? Have you had to reapply? Pics?

Did they lose shine after 8 months, or were they still holding strong?

Nice. Well mine will bake in the sun at ~5,000ft, so will see how well they hold up.

Coop I think i might have found you another one to try out. Look into Opi-Coat. They appear to be the same product. I got a big 32 oz bottle for $59, which is what i paid for a smaller bottle from Dura.

Applied it to some old tires on Monti. Took a lot of cleaning beforehand.

Looks the same to me. Might dry a little faster, but hard to tell with temps being higher now.

Needed to rotate the wife’s tires before the trip to NY. She got new tires about a month ago, so I did the whole clean, coat, wax, and rotate. Damn they look good.
