Can't turbo things in CA lol. Well not legally. He could swap in an entire drivetrain from a newer year car and do it that way as long as he keeps emissions stuff intact.

Yeah can't just slap a turbo on it from a WRX anyways.

People do it all the time. There's a whole Facebook group devoted to it.

Spent a bunch of time cleaning it up today. It had been sitting under a tree for a few years, so it had quite a bit of tree crap in every nook and cranny. Here's a before shot:

Yep that's why everyone complains or talks trash about CA when modding cars. It's funny though because CA is the original epicenter of car culture and modifications.

Yes it has a midgate but it's not very big or useful.

Mostly just sourcing cats and transmission for now. Trying to decide if I want to do HG now or later.

Have a garage space for her or doing this on the side yard?

I'll put it in the garage when I start working on it. It will go into the 3rd car spot in front of the Sequoia.

Have a hay day if it’s going in the garage.

Went to Costco yesterday and picked up a battery for it. Now I can easily start it and move it around the yard if I need to.
