If anything it's getting a small lift and all terrains. If I can find a fozzy in a pull a part it'll get a 4 inch or so lift

No plans to install this stuff any time soon, but so far i have lined up:


VF39 turbo (early STI) $75
565cc injectors from dan's wrx $25
EJ257 case halves (car had ringland failure, no cylinder wall scoring) $100
AC compressor- free
WRX stock axleback- free
ATI clock gauge pod- free, from my old wrx, gave it to a friend to cut up for his 300zx build, he pretty much gave up on the build.
Greddy boost gauge- been trying to sell it for 2-3 years off an on, came from my old wrx

Really wish i had room for a parts car, i need to find a 97-99 outback for lift parts. Struts on my car have 4k miles on them, new oem subaru, hoping I can sell them to offset the cost of the lift.

One of the local subaru guys lost his forester in the flood. Said i could pick his car clean, so have all newish struts and will be getting most of the lift parts i need from his car. Winning. He said he would rather it live on in some form lol.

Took some pictures before i start doing things to it. Going to try and document this "build" so to speak.

ill probably end up cutting the rockers completely and just something like this with rectangular tubing welded in place of it to tie the front and rear together, should stiffen it up a bit. And stop it from disintegrating.



I need some tubing anyway to make something like this bull bar.

I still don't get the whole lifted Subaru thing

it costs too much money to make a subaru fast :d ontknow:

sanding sucks, at least you can tell its carbon fiber now. need to get a day when i have a couple hours to sand some more and then clear it.
