Yes, this. Say all you want about automatics, but it'll be quicker with it than without it.

Might have to get headers at and a tune at some point.

No regrets with my auto.

Doppelkupplungsgetriebe > slushbox :D

[quote=""Mike""]You want to bet that I feel infinitely better about driving my auto Vette around corners than you do in your Miata or Legacy? I can choose my gears too, and the car shifts faster than you can. :D

I've driven cars that shift faster than the corvettes auto, Audi/VW DSG. My statement still stands.

As for your superiority complex revolving around how much better a Vette is than everything else I can't help you on. I can say that your Vette can't touch my Miata in the cost category for consumables (tires brakes etc.). Considering my intended purpose for the Miata that's important to me. I'm fully aware my Miata is slow as shit in a straight line but I don't care. I'm fully aware people seem to get homophobic about it, but I don't care, I'm confident enough with myself and my sexuality to know a car doesn't define me. I'm not sure why you feel the need to put me down to make yourself feel better about your Vette.

That's an entirely subjective statement though

Don't take this as too much of an offense Mike but you are coming across like a total asshole in your car comments most of the time.. How you constantly throw out numbers of friends' cars and pretty much talk down about every other car on here (feel free to talk down about my grandpamobile though!) can get pretty old. The comments are pretty abrasive.

And slow is most definitely subjective.

Looking forward to not replacing clutches. ;)

My wife originally dictated that it be a convertible. I was able to convince her to go coupe, but she then said that she wouldn't learn a manual so it had to be an automatic. Good tradeoff for me.

Eh I prefer my car world up here to your car world down there then. I prefer non-assholes. Then again, the guys up here tend to not measure their dicks by having as much HP as they can either.

And GTRs are ugly.

Nobody likes what I like haha! Not my cars and not my hobbies! Wagons, yo!

Interesting thing about car designs.. some designs grow on me.. some do not. GTR never did, been saying it was ugly since the first time I saw it. C7 design is growing on me..

Can't you just appreciate each car for the virtues it offers? If 'fast' is the only virtue you care about, fine...it's your money. I like to think I can appreciate nearly any car for what it offers so long as it's tastefully built and the owner isn't a twat.
