I've often thought about getting a 2013/14, but not sure if I'd rather do that or buy my chevelle

Have you had a Chevelle yet? Maybe you need to scratch that itch.
I think about all the things we could have done, all the miracles we could have achieved, if we were all just a little bit better than it turns out we are.

All I will say is.. sometimes that dream turns out not worth it. An example is my Ducati. I have lusted after Ducatis for years. Heck decades. I LOVE Ducatis - quite possibly the sexiest thing you will find on the street. I LOVE my Ducati.. yet..
..it isn't worth owning one. It is not comfortable to ride more than short distances yet it is horrible in traffic. It needs an open, curvy road to be in the right element. Or a track. And it requires a lot of work to be in tip top shape.
There is that saying that you should never meet your idols. I kind of feel like I experienced that with the Duc.
Anyhow, not saying you shouldn't get your Chevelle just saying that it MIGHT not be all you have dreamt of it being. And that can be a disappointment.

I feel that way about the Corvette sometimes. It's an amazing car, but there's very few good places to really drive it around here.

Muscle cars are their own kind of cool but if you are used to modern conveniences then you will likely be let down. Fair amount of old tech and parts changing or upgrading. They also aren’t as “tight” on the road and get lousy gas mileage.

Felt a lot like that with my 3000GT
