I didn't know Mitsu used special crush washers until the ones from Advance I put in my oil cooler fitting kept leaking.
It might have to do with the fact that the stock oil cooler seals are metal with a rubber gasket in the middle, and not actual crush washers.

Probably your best bet, Mr. Invisible mode. You can get them online if you want to buy 100 to 100,000 of them at a time :D

You might be able to find some at a hydraulic supply place, but is it really worth the effort? The factory parts are only a couple dollars. Might be worth it for the convenience alone.

That was a great story!!

I was lucky, the O'rilley's and the Advanced in Waco had good people. They knew there stuff, and when they didn't they didn't pretend that they did.

Auto Zone on the other hand, umm yeah just about on par with your story.

I once had an interview for a part time gig at autozone. They ask you to name various components of all the major systems on a car (cooling/fuel/ignition/engine/ac/etc). As i was naming every single part on the car, the guy looked dumbfounded. I never heard back from them. Im convinced he was concerned i would end up taking his job :D

Hahaha, my ol roommate had something similar happen when he applied to AutoZone. It was just for a part time job while he was still in school. At the interview he was asked very simple questions in which he responded to in detail. He too did not receive a call back.

I was actually pissed he didn't get it, I could have gone there, told him what I needed and been out real quick. But noooo they only hire those who usually don't know anything.

If only you guys had Pep Boys out west.

It's twice as big as the average Auto Zone. They've usually got more in stock, but they also have a much bigger section of ricey junk.

Hmm. I figured they weren't out west at all because there were none in Missouri or Kansas.
