I've never liked the Boxster/Cayman cars, either. I know they are fun to drive and handle great (as I've seen Car & Driver drool over their performance for 5 years now). To me, they aren't much to look at (they don't turn heads at all) and they are overpriced for what you get, including a hideous, stripped-down interior. For example, get into a BMW Z3 after getting out of a Boxster...the interior show and quality aren't even close.

Porsche needs to work on their overall interior design on all their cars, actually. Even the 911 Turbos are very blah inside. Interiors have always been very important to me because that is what I have to look at the entire time I'm driving the car. Interior bling matters.

Some of those Cavaliers are damn flashy.

I never said I loved the C5 interior - it could use more bling (like chrome rings around the gauges, for example). However, I like it better than the Boxster interior.

Notice the chrome accents around the gauges and the steering wheel? Those are definately bling improvements.
