So, fellow Volt owners, how do you drive?

Are you one of those slow lane hyper mileage people who barely go the speed limit and accelerate from a stop at the slowest speed possible?

Or do you drive it like a human being?

I have noticed that of all the other Volts I see on the road, I am by for the most aggressive/fastest driver. Only 1 time have I came across another Volt owner who actually knew where the gas pedal was.

I have no problem putting the pedal all the way down on accelerating, or going 85+ mph in it.

I don't have a volt but what I'm driving doesn't really change how I drive too much.

I drive it "normal". Not slow, not like the Stingray. Just regular...

Another question - factory Nav. I have it, but never use it. I have to have a sirius xm radio subscription to get traffic updates on the nav so I just use google maps on my phone.

For those of you that do use the Nav, and can compare it to google maps, is the factory one any good in terms of traffic?

I'm not subscribed to XM in my car, so I can't compare the two.

Volt Forum pretty much says the traffic updates are OK, but very slow compared to Google.

We have it in our Outback and it does a pretty decent job. We tend to use it more than our phones in the Outback as it's less distracting and gives the turn by turn in the LCD display between the main gauges.

It is good when I have used it, but the traffic is more important to me. There are multiple routes to the gym I take based on current traffic trends.

We don't have nav in our Volt, but the nav in the Corvette is usually pretty quick at getting traffic updates. I tend to use Waze or Apple Maps a lot though as an alternative. Waze does well, and people are pretty good at marking where police are out on patrol too. Ended up with nav in the Camaro, but would've been fine without it and just use CarPlay with Apple Maps instead.

I'd rather have my nav on the cellphone since the software and data is continually updated. I always have my phone with me anyways, and might as well plug it into the car to charge it and do CarPlay while I'm there...

I think something might be wrong with the regenerative braking system. If brake to a stop then go again there is a loud click. Thought it was a sticky caliper or something. So checked it out last night. Still doing it today but also noticed it does it if I'm in low, which increases the regenerative braking to slow you down, and I accelerate. Even without touching the brake pedal. I can slow to 10 mpg in drive and hit accelator and no noise. If slow to 10 in low then hit it, there is a noise.

Not a regenerative issue.

Sorry for the vertical video. But your car shouldn't make this sound when you rock it.

Don't want to deal with it myself.
