Yeah you can back in to give yourself a bit more space. The downside is that it will pump a lot more exhaust into the garage.

We'll back in when we have stuff in the back of our cars. Also now that Jen is showing more she likes to back in now because it makes it easier to get in and out of the car with all her teacher stuff.

damn, i missed this entire thread. I dont have a golf r to compare to, but the interior on my friends 17 gti was nicer than the ST's ive been in. We both agreed that it wasnt as nice as the interior on my 16 limited wrx, but it was close. Really odd considering historically subaru interiors are trash, though i lucked out and have no random noises in my interior. My seats are the most comfortable seats ive had in a car, even more so than my bmw.

What level ST's were you in? Cause there were 3 different levels of ST, and 2 different levels of RS's. Just curious. Don't get me wrong I think the Golf R is a nice car, I just like the RS more, and it was a better car for me.

I want to sit in one of these RS’s as my wife’s edge is a great seat and my escape seat sucks. Wonder if an RS would be a seat swap I could do.

The RS has Recaros with Alcantara. If you wanted to swap, I would suggest the ST seats (same seat) which are leather trimmed, unless you want the Alcantara. But there are a lot more ST seats out there than RS seats.

Leather Recaros and Base cloth.

The fiesta recaros were garbage too, but I think that’s mainly because of my size.

Focus Recaros are the most comfortable seat I’ve sat in.

its all subjective. I spent 19 hours in my wrx straight and had no tiredness or soreness. Havent been able to do that with anything, not even the bimmer. The sti seats and base wrx seats are worse though.
