Just used my 100th gallon of gas since I bought it. It keeps track for me.

So the new tires are great! I might have lost a little range, but the wet traction, cornering, quietness, etc are all so much better than what was on there.

I'm sure the stock ones were really hard for mileage reasons. Does it come stock with a spare, or run flats?

Neither. Comes with some of that instant repair foam and a cheap air compressor.

Officially hit 50k miles on her last night and still 100% trouble free other than the tire.

Some data (I am the 2nd owner, and the previous owner was less efficient that me):
Lifetime mpg = 81.1 mpg (about 110 or so since I have owned it)
Total miles: 50,002
Electric miles: 28,468
My March Diagnostics Report:
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Fuel Economy: 98 mpg
Electric Consumption: 35 kW-hr/100 miles
Electric Miles: 482
Gas Miles: 281
Total Miles: 763
Percentage on Electric: 63 %
Estimated Gallons of Fuel Saved: 25 gal
Estimated CO2 Avoided: 493 lbs
That is with the heater on most days as well, which kills the electric range big time.

This is kind of funny to me. Of all the cars and trucks I have owned, only 3 have held a special place in my heart. My first one - the 96 Silverado, my 98 Cherokee, and now this. My Volt.
It is not the prettiest car, the fastest, or the most comfortable I have owned, but I love the damn thing for some reason. Every time I see it it puts a smile on my face. I can't describe why. There is just something about it.

There's something kind of fun about an electric car... The quiet acceleration, torque off the line. It is a whole different experience.

I love this weather right now. Can go without a/c or heat on and just crack the windows. Been averaging about 180 mpg to/from the gym because of it.

This is not bad for 50% city 50% highway to/from the gym today with the windows down.
Used 10 kWh - a full charge that can be used is usually ~ 11, so I could have done better.

This seriously makes me not want to ever work on this car. Looks like I will be always taking this to the dealer for any work it will ever need. Way too complicated to even want to try to work on it.

You can still change the oil, air filter, etc..... Nothing special there. The good thing is, those tasks don't have to be done often since the gas engine runs so little if you can get where you want on electric alone.
