You know how I said it was rainy and dreary outside? Well, I just want out and looked under the truck again.

It's definitely the kit Aaron posted. Some quick measurements show it's dropped 1" in the front and 4" in the back. The rear has a flip kit to put the axle on top of the leaf springs instead of under them.

I get all the internet points today!
What's crazy is even though it's lowered from factory, you though it could be lifted. Just shows you how ridiculous trucks have gotten from the factory

It is definitely big. I love driving it, but I hate parking it. I had to go get cat food the other day and the mall was super busy. I really need some more seat time before I get comfortable in those situations. The sad part is, it's still not that big by modern standards. Even an extended cab Colorado is longer.

If you ever make it this way or I take my truck out east to move my mother-in-law I should let you try and drive and park mine.

Your truck looks really good lowered. I think it looks better than stock.
If my buddies had the lowering kit I don’t think it would look as good. Probably has to do with the Crew Can vs Standard cab.

I agree it's a good look for your truck. Plus if you go with oversized tires it will make your gas mileage suffer.

I've driven Vira's dad's flatbed Sprinter and a couple good sized rental trucks. I'm not a total noob. :lol;
Not saying we couldn't have some laughs though. There's usually a fair amount of empty space by the grocery store around the corner.

Thanks. I kind of wanted to go for 'functional sport truck'. I think I'm pretty close.

I don't necessarily want oversize. I just want a slightly more aggressive AT style tread.

I really like the stance. Its also going to get a bump in highway MPG. I would keep it lowered.
Your truck is also mini sized. Probably just as long as the Mighty Max. Be glad you arent driving around a full length land yacht like Chris.

Hey my truck isn't the longest... wait it's probably longer than Jason's unless he has the 8ft bed

I do have the 8ft bed.
248.6" total length I believe.
Will be longer once I finally get that bumper put on.

You'll laugh, but I actually had a file with different vehicle dimensions to keep handy while I was shopping.

The Max is TINY.
Mighty Max (2 door, 4WD V6) 177.8" L x 65.9" W
C7 Corvette Grand Sport 178" L x 77" W
Audi SQ5 183" L x 75" W
Hummer H3 188" L x 75" W (it's probably wider due to how the tires stick out)
2017 Chevy Silverado 2dr short bed 206" x 80"
2017 F150 XL 2dr short bed 209" L x 79.9" W (No, this does not include the mirrors. This thing is f'n WIDE)
2017 Chevy Colorado ext cab 212.7" L x 74" W
Chevy Avalanche (both gens) 221" L x 74" W

Isn't Jason's just the rear suicide doors though? You have the full 4 door cab plus the 8' box.

Wow, its shorter than the Vette and the Audi. I thought that would have read different.

Looks like our trucks are the same width, but mind is 40" longer. I also have the big two mirrors though and it sits a LOT higher.

Mine is listed as 244" without rear bumper... so we're basically the same length lol

Pretty much all trucks since 08ish have been just under 80"

I didn't realize the C6 was that much smaller than the C7 - mine is 174.6 x 72.6

They stretched out the wheelbase in one last ditch attempt to keep the 0-60 times lower. Mine is also the widebody, so that accounts for most of the width difference.
