I thought you had a trailer to tow it back? Have any buddies in sac that would ride up with you to drive it back?
Also itÂ’s hot August Nights starting this Sunday through next week. Good excuse to get away.

There was a guy at MSU who had one with a full STi swap, it was pretty sweet.

Any reason why only Ford? Why not GM?

Part of it is just familiarity, I know what to look for on Fords to ensure they have the equipment I want. The other is they seem to be more readily available around me. GM's tend to have interior quality issues over 70k miles that really bug me, things like buttons wearing and logos rubbing off. The big thing is they tend to feel bigger than they are when I'm driving them. I find it harder to see the corners of the vehicles. I have similar feelings about how the current Tundra drives. As for Ram, well I don't trust Fiat for reliability.

Oh man. Torn between the 2 5.0s
Personally no tan but leather > cloth

I have only owned GM and Ram trucks. Won't own Ram again. Ford trucks I have driven for different jobs, but never owned.
I think part of my love for GM is the fact that I grew up in a GM family. Grandparents had Cadillacs and Imapalas. Mother had a 77 Z28 Camaro, Buicks as family sedans, Chevy van as a people hauler, etc. Dad always has owned some form of a Chevy truck my whole life, 95 Z71, 04 Avalanche, and now a Chevy 2500HD. My first car was a 96 Chevy Silverado. Also owned other Silverado later on.
So ya, kinda biased.

That's basically how I feel too.
I went and looked at the trucks at my CarMax store the 12 Lariat was really nice and had basically everything I'd want, the 14 XLT was nice too and a little bit cleaner. The red platinum looked great but had been owned by a smoker. Still I find the 6.2L tempting because big V8

I also went and tested this out
https://roseville.bmwofroseville.com/ve ... 50fns66370 I admit I really like it. It reminds a lot of my old spec.B, only RWD. Although the automatic climate control let it get pretty warm with the ac running.

5.0 + VMP tvs + tune.
You won't have any complaints.... Except maybe having to replace rear tires too often
